How to unlock the Compulsive Liar achievement in Red Dead Redemption - Definitive Guide
Set up:
- 5 other boosters with Mics.
- Private free roam / Liars dice.
Initial:
Ensure you're all in a party, and then you'll need to get the host to set up a posse for all 6 (Boosters plus yourself) and then teleport to a liars dice mode.
6 people are REQUIRED for a full table.
Everyone will need to be assigned a number, and you'll be counting 6's.
Person going for the achievement will be calling Spot on calls to bust everyone out of the table quickly.
Game:
a) Commit low bids until you reach the person before (We'll call him P1) the one that is going to get the achievement. (We'll call him P2).
b) Everyone will go around in order and say their number and then the number of sixes.
eg:
GaMeRtAg123: "Number 1 has 2 sixes"
Cheevo_Hunt3r: "Number 2 has 3 sixes"
xX_360_Xx: "Number 3 has zero sixes" etc...
It is important to follow this procedure, or else everyone will be trying to talk over each other and get confused.
c) P1 should be listening carefully for the sixes, count them up and then bid that number.
d) P2 will spot-on call.
e) everyone else should lose a dice.
f) process repeats until P2 wins the table.
Done right, it won't take you long.
Now, I'm not claiming credit for this guide, that goes to Mama Berry who filled us in during our hunt for this. So i hope others will find this beneficial.

You will need a total of 6 people for a full Liar's Dice game. The fastest way to have everyone lose their die is to make spot-on calls. Have whoever is going for the achievement to make the Spot-on call. If the call is made correctly, everyone BUT the player going for the achievement will lose 1 die. Repeat this 5 more times, and the person will earn the achievement after everyone is beaten.
If the person going for the achievement is far along in the group then go back to private free roam and let them host continue to make fake bets until one player before whoever is going for the achievement.I found it easiest to get the 1st player to call 1 1s the 2nd 1 2s and so on round the table. At this point, everyone will need to communicate to GUARANTEE that the correct amount is on the table. (Every player should call out the number of say 6s they have when its there turn to make a bid to avoid everyone shouting out at the same time.) Once it is correct and i advise that at least 1 player is noting it down on paper and everyone is counting to avoid mistakes, have the player going for the achievement make the Spot-on call. If correct, everyone will lose 1 die. once you have one player get it you will get into the swing of it and it will go faster.I also advise that once everyone is down to 2 dies let the achievement getter call out if he has more than 1 die of any number and use that one to make the bid as i found you could get round the table and no-one would have number die you agree to use at the beginning of the game and as everyone has a certain time limit to make a bid you need to be fairly quick or you have to take an automatic bid
1. Obviously you'll need a grand total of 6 people, all need to have mics (do not try this with someone without a mic, it just doesn't work).
2. Join in a liars dice game. Now before you start going around the table, have somebody be the designated counter. This person is to grab a pen/notepad and tally up everybody's dice of choice. DO THIS WITH PAPER. I was trying to count without paper, and if somebody speaks out of line, you could forget the dice count, and have to recount quickly or risk messing up the flow.
3. Establish an order of who speaks, and have them talk in third person. this eliminates ANY confusion. the designated counter will be able to clearly get the right amount of dice. (John has 2 SIX, Killer has no SIX, etc). Using numbers might mess up a count of dice, so use your gamertag or real name!
4. Shuffle around the table by bidding 1 ONE, 1 TWO, 1 THREE etc. until the player sitting next to the achievement receiver is bidding, and the designator will give him/her the total dice count for the designated die (everyone seems to like SIXES). P1 will make the bid, and then the achievement receiver (P2) will call spot on.
5. One major change we made, is that when it gets down to everyone having one die left, sometimes there won't even be a SIX on the field, therefore causing a recount, possible failed attempt, etc. HERE IS WHAT TO DO. the Designator (die counter) will look at his/her die, and tell the playing field what it is. Then, the playing field, in their respective order, will tell the Designator how many they have of that particular die, and then P1 can call it and P2 can get their achievement. This guarentees that there is at least one dice on the field so their does not have to be a recount.
6. If somebody makes a mistake, just back out and restart by shuffling around the table to the P1. If the bid accidentally autos in and it is the achievement receivers turn to bid, have him raise it and the next guy bid ridiculously, so that the fourth guy can call bluff (P2 will not lose a dice). Mistakes happen, however we made no mistakes using third person acknowledgement and a Designated dice counter for our group.
using this method it took us no more than 30 minutes for every single person to get their achievement.
hope this helps in addition to the above guides!

Before the session starts , it is necessary to determine the order of the players to win the achievement. Once the game has started, each player must eliminate himself. This is accomplished by placing maximum bets (30x1, 25x6, 20x4...) and the player on the left calls a bluff. It Is done five times in a row and is eliminated by the next player. This is done by the remainning players, unless in the turn of the player who is going to get the achievement.
It may seem like this method takes time but it is not true. Each game takes exactly 15 minutes, so a session will take about 90 minutes. It may be little longer than the method of counting dices and boring, but it is ideal for those boosting sessions where the players don't have a mic, don't understand English or simply don't want to join a party chat
So he we go, going to make it short bc it doesn't need to be a book lol
First you want to make a session on TA for 8 just in case people leave on short notice which tends to happen sometimes.
Make a private free roam session then jump into liars dice, ready up,fast to cut time.
When in the game determine who is getting the achievement first, then make bids around the table till you get the person before the person obtaining the achievement.
Next determine how much 6's or highest dice there are and get the person before the person getting the achievement to bid the correct amount of dice, then have the person getting the achievement call the bid spot on which makes everyone lose one dice besides the person calling the bid spot on /getting the achievement.
Then repeat the last part over till the game is over, the person who gets thier bid called spot on keeps making the bid so it goes by quicker.
