How to unlock the Harbor achievement in Reus - Definitive Guide
The Harbor is a tier 2 project, the developement of the fishing dock. For help spawning the dock view the solution here:
The Harbor itself needs 90 food and 50 wealth to be in use by the village and will come with one of the following two specializations to help you get there.
Fishing Trade: +5 wealth for each Natural Source within borders. +50% food from Seabass, even if range is not fully within borders.
Improved nets: All Seabass over the whole world gain food.
Personally I find the Fishing Trade is more beneficial for developing the Harbor so you might want to revert back to an old save if your Harbor gets the nets!
If you've created an island village with ocean all around you might find it quite difficult to get the 50 wealth. But if you've got land to one side, and your giants have accumulated a few ambassadors from other villages you should have enough rich mines to earn the cash. The sea should provide plenty of food.
Greed can become a problem in these villages as adding one extra fish to the sea can end up producing masses more food. So keep updating the village slowly and constantly. Don't complete the fishing dock and forget about the village until the Harbor spawn, keep developing and you'll have a prosperous village.
If you don't complete the harbor project on the first attempt don't worry, it will spawn again and hopefully you'll be most of the way to finishing it. Also don't worry if you don't complete it within the era (time limit). Just choose to continue playing and you can earn the achievement in "overtime".
