How to unlock the You got all the easy ones! achievement in Reus - Definitive Guide
Developments are the milestones awarded at the end of an Era and must not be confused with Projects, the specialist buildings in villages.
There are 16 level 1 developments listed below. Completing each one unlocks a new resource making subsequent games easier. At the start of the game you're locked into Era 1 and 30 minute games. Once you've unlocked 9 or these developments in addition to the 3 from the tutorial you'll rank up and gain access to the Era 2 60 minute games making things a little easier.
Forest Tribe - Finish an era with a forest village which has 100 prosperity - Deer
Desert Tribe - Finish an era with a desert village which has 100 prosperity - Onyx
Swamp Tribe - Finish an era with a swamp village which has 100 prosperity - White Willow
Genesis Era - Finish an era with 250 prosperity - Dragonfruit
Chosen People - Finish an era with one village which has 175 prosperity - Javelina
Classical Era - Finish an era with 450 prosperity - Tapir
Specialization - Finish an era with a completed upgraded project - Papaya
Civilized - Finish an era with a village which has 250 prosperity - Date Palm
Fishing Village - Finish an era with a village which has 200 prosperity and 5 ocean patches within its border - Phosphorus
Fiscal-Military State - Finish an era with a village which has 200 prosperity and 3 war markers - Boar
Specialized Economy - Finish an era with 3 completed upgrades projects - Grey Fox
Post-Classical Era - Finish an era with 600 prosperity - Foxglove
Aristocracy - Finish an era with a village which has 150 prosperity using only animals and minerals - Musk Deer
Physics - Finish an era with a village which has 150 prosperity using only plants and minerals - Iron
Agriculture - Finish an era with a village which has 150 prosperity using only animals and plants - Pear Tree
Vitality - Finish an era with a village with at least 50 of each resource - Aloe Vera
A few of these (Aristocracy, Physics & Agriculture) can be earnt with some clever use of save games. Make a save just before the game ends then finish off with the different resources in use. i.e. if you finished with a >150 prosperity village then load the save and replace all animals to earn "Physics", reload the save and replace all minerals to earn "Agriculture".
