How to unlock the Gen 10 achievement in Titanfall - Definitive Guide

Introduction
I made this solution since I saw a lot of misinformation floating around.

Leveling seems easy, and it is. Getting to Gen 10 is not so easy as leveling up 441 times.

Generation In-Game Tags

Requirements to Regen
Hit Level 50 and complete every challenge required for each generation.

Experience
There is an experience modifier you gain for each generation, making the leveling up process faster. This will help with getting your unlocks back faster and remedies some of the issue people have with Prestige and other mechanics. The modifier for each generation is:

Gen 2 = 110%
Gen 3 = 120%
Gen 4 = 130%
Gen 5 = 150%
Gen 6 = 180%
Gen 7 = 210%
Gen 8 = 250%
Gen 9 = 290%
Gen 10 = 350% (Not that this rank matters as you don't need to get level 50 in Gen 10)

Challenges Required
The challenges are the tough part. You need to do all of the following for each generation. Take note that not every challenge requires you to kill pilots.

You must do these challenges during each generation as challenges reset when you regen. You can't try to do all the challenges in gen 1 and then just level up. You'll need to earn the challenges while in the current generation.

To view current progress on the required challenges, open the challenges menu (available at level 4) and scroll down to the bottom where it says regen requirements. You need to max out all the challenges listed there.

When killing titans for challenges, dooming a titan is enough to receive credit in general. However, you don't actually get that credit until the titan is destroyed. If you doom the titan and then another player destroys it with his weapons while its critical, he'll get credit instead of you.

You may skip a challenge. In the black market, you can buy a Forged Certification for 100,000 credits. Doing so will then allow you to go into the challenge menu and complete a challenge automatically. This sounds great! Beware, doing so will permanently void another achievement. It will be impossible (even by deleting a save) to unlock:

TitanfallToo Legit to QuitThe Too Legit to Quit achievement in Titanfall worth 0 pointsEarn Gen 10 without using a Forged Certification on a regen challenge

In lieu of listing the challenge names for the weapons over and over, I'm just going to list how many kills you need to get.

The challenges are:

Generation 1 to 2
No Challenges Required

Generation 2 to 3
EVA-8 Shotgun (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 75 Pilots

40mm Cannon (Titan Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 50 Titans

Generation 3 to 4
R-97 Compact SMG (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 75 Pilots

Plasma Railgun (Titan Weapon)
Kill 100 enemies
Kill 50 Titans
Strategy: Wait for a Titan to get extremely low, then hit them with a critical. This can be frustrating.

No Hitter (Challenge)
Kill 50 Pilots with Satchel Charge
Strategy: Battle for Demeter in the campaign. Put a satchel charge in the middle of B and wait for someone to run in, then blow it up. Put a new one and wait some more.
Dead Man's Trigger (Tier 2 Kit) is also nice. Throw a satchel at an enemy before you die and it almost always kills them.
CTF defending the flag also works, and will give you a good amount of XP as well if you let the enemy grab the flag before you blow it up (you get lots of bonuses for killing the flag carrier and returning the flag).

Generation 4 to 5
Longbow-DMR Sniper (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 150 enemies
Kill 50 Pilots
Strategy: If, like me, you are terrible with snipers this can be a bit of a problem. I had the greatest success running around with an ACOG scope and a suppressor. It's a slow grind and you'll lose most of your games if you aren't any good with it (I won 10 out of 58 games this Gen - previously I had a 78% win ratio), but you'll eventually get all the kills you need.

Quad Rocket (Titan Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 50 Titans

RE-45 Auto Pistol (Pilot Sidearm)
Kill 50 Pilots

Charge Rifle (Pilot Anti-Titan Weapon)
Get 30 critical hits
Strategy: See Youtube video below.

Generation 5 to 6
R-101C Carbine (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 75 Pilots

Arc Cannon (Titan Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 50 Titans

Sidewinder (Pilot Anti-Titan Weapon)
Kill 10 Titans

Gooser (THIS IS THE WORST THING EVER) (Challenge)
Kill a Pilot who is ejecting 5 time(s)
Strategy: Last Titan Standing. Chaingun with extended mag in your Titan. Try to keep a distance so you can clearly make out the enemy. Reload often, but not to often. I had issues at first reloading quickly until I realized I had only used 1/3 of the mag when I thought I was almost done. You'll want 30-40 bullets to kill a pilot in the air.
When fighting, don't attack after the Titan goes critical. Some players are a bit slow in ejecting. On the flip side, make sure you don't use auto-eject and do use survivor. I got at least 5 of my 50 kills while doomed.
If they cloak when they eject, keep an eye out for their boost pack. You can see it on some maps (depends on the sky color). It's always worth it to spray and pray anyway - got a few kills doing that.
Most importantly, BE AGGRESSIVE. I can't stress how important this is. I see Gen 5 people all the time just sitting in the back hoping someone ejects. These people are stuck at level 50 for ages. You get far more ejections if you're not making it essentially a 5v6 every round and losing the game for your team. I was top scorer in over half my games (pretty easy when everyone else runs around with garbage weapons trying to get regen requirements done).

Generation 6 to 7
Spitfire LMG (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 75 Pilots

Triple Threat (Titan Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 50 Titans

Mag Launcher (Pilot Anti-Titan Weapon)
Kill 10 Titans

Brain Surgeon (Challenge)
Kill 50 Titans by rodeo
Strategy: You can use the Spitfire LMG with the Slammer add-on to kill fast. The ONLY sure way to get a Rodeo kill is to doom the Titan with your weapon and then have the pilot eject.
Supposedly, you can do this on Auto-Titans but you must make sure you get the kill. To ensure this, stay on the Titan even after you doom it and shoot it until you see you get credit for the kill on the right side of the screen. You can also jump on already doomed auto-titans and get credit. However, I tried MANY times and could never get this to work so I cannot confirm it. Multiple people in the comments have said it does, in fact, work.
It will not count if you see on the side of the screen you killed the Titan with a weapon (it must say "Player [Rodeo] X's Auto Titan" instead of [Spitfire LMG]).

Generation 7 to 8
G2A4 Rifle (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 75 Pilots

XO-16 Chaingun (Titan Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 50 Titans

Charge Rifle (Pilot Anti-Titan Weapon)
Kill 10 Titans
Strategy: The Charge Rifle burn card is borderline overpowered. You'll get a few on your way up. Otherwise, the only tip I can really give is to learn to feather your trigger to keep it near a full charge, so you only need to pop out for a split second to shoot the enemy. Cloaking while charging will emit a bright orange light, so don't count on that.

Fresh Squeezed (Challenge)
Get 25 execution kill(s) as a Stryder Titan
Strategy: You can execute by melee'ing when a Titan has gone critical.

Generation 8 to 9
C.A.R. SMG (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 200 enemies
Kill 75 Pilots

Archer Heavy Rocket (Pilot Anti-Titan Weapon)
Kill 10 Titans

40mm Cannon (Titan Weapon)
Get 75 critical hits
Strategy: See the Youtube video below. Use burst fire to get off more shots at once.

Executioner (Challenge)
Get 25 execution kill(s) as an Atlas Titan
Strategy: You can execute by melee'ing when a Titan has gone critical.

All I Do Is Win (Challenge)
Win 100 matches

Look Out Below! (Challenge)
Get 50 kill(s) by dropping your Titan on the enemy
Strategy: Works against grunts and spectres. This is your best bet.

Generation 9 to 10
Smart Pistol Mk5 (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 75 Pilots

Hemlock BF-R (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 75 Pilots

Kraber-AP Sniper (Pilot Weapon)
Kill 25 Pilots

Plasma Railgun (Titan Weapon)
Get 50 Critical Hits
Strategy: See Youtube video below.

XO-16 Chaingun (Titan Weapon)
Get 400 Critical Hits
Strategy: See Youtube below.

Disarmed (Challenge)
Get 25 execution kill(s) as an Ogre Titan
Strategy: You can execute by melee'ing when a Titan has gone critical.

MVP (Challenge)
Be the player with the highest score on your team 50 time(s)
Strategy: Play CTF and try to capture the flags. If you learn some good flag paths, it's fairly easy. The person with the most flag caps on the team is always first. In the event of a tie, flag returns are the tie-breaker. You don't need to actually win to get MVP - just first on your team. If you aren't good at CTF, try constantly attacking at Hardpoint - playing defense was patched to be extremely ineffective for purposes of points.
You also might have some success playing campaign, where the players are generally a bit worse.

Deadly Apparition (Challenge)
Get 200 kill(s) whilst being cloaked
Strategy: You can get these on minions. Using ordnance (satchel charges and arc grenades are both especially good) and jump kicking minions will net you lots of kills as they don't break the cloak. Ghost Squad or any infinite ordnance burn card are all excellent as well. With a burn card, you can easily get close to 50 kills in a game.

Death Reincarnate (Challenge)
Get a kill while ejecting 75 times
Strategy: Use Nuclear Explosion. It does work against minions.

Finally, a lot of people have left comments and messages to make this solution better - too many to list. It's more of a community solution than it is mine. So thank you and keep up the good work. If you guys think anything should be added just let me know!

These 100 wins for Gen 8 are killing my enthusiasm for the game. This is a soul-sucking grind. I'm at 89/100 wins, getting most of them in Campaign. There is only so many times that I want to see MacAllan sacrifice himself on Demeter, or Blisk yell "You kill me, you're better. I kill you, I'm better." Jesus Christ.

Playing through the Campaign again made me forget how really cool the initial cutscenes are before all those Campaign Attrition and Hardpoint missions. Titanfall 2 better have a real single player - it has the chance to be fantastic. The Respawn guys (former IW employees) have shown they know what it takes with MW1 and MW2.

If they were to patch this, or if they had a similar achievement in Titanfall 2, I think 50 wins is a lot more reasonable than 100 wins, for a Gen8 challenge.

no one for a while indeed....some of these challenge requirements are hilarious. Kill while ejecting 75 times? 50 kills by dropping a titan? never gonna happen for me. good solution though

When are we allowed to start working on those challenges???
1)During that specific generation?
2)During that specific generation, but only after reaching level 50?
3)Anytime at all???

By Cakau on 12 Mar 2014 12:35
Similar question to Cakau, and possibly too early to be able to answer, but are the challenges cumulative? ie. if I already have 50 pilot kills whilst they are ejecting before I reach Gen 5 will they carry over or am I starting again when I reach gen 5?
Good solution btw, but as others have said it would be wise to remove the 'idiots' comment.

Challenges reset when you go up a gen (that was also confirmed - it was datamined from the warning the game gives you when you choose to regen), so I'm sure you have to get them in that specific generation, which makes it even worse.

And you're right Lone Wolf, I do know better. This solution took a while to write and I didn't really want to do it (you get way too many notifications when you write a solution for a popular game, I've found laugh), so I was irritated. Now that some time has passed, I chose my words poorly. I've edited it out!

By o NooB SAIB0T o on 19 Mar 2014 09:54
It's already fairly easy to boost by going to a server where the Xbox One hasn't released (Japan or Korea - each has one) and just matching up there. The only issue I had was running into another boosting party doing something different!

The real problem you'll have with boosting is finding 12 people who are the same gen as you and want to do it.

By coreywolfg on 21 Mar 2014 05:16
I was under the impression that you get credit for it as long as someone else doesn't finish off the titan with something else. I definitely have a few ranks of Brain Surgeon right now and I ALWAYS hop off the second I doom it.
0
0
By Eurydace on 21 Mar 2014 06:01
@Snowed Probably true! But the chance that someone puts in some damage onto the titan you doomed is usually pretty damn high so finishing it off will result in more effective progress for the challenge by quite a margin.
0
0
By coreywolfg on 21 Mar 2014 06:49
Use the strategy I said and it's no worry. I got tier 5 brain surgeon during the first generation without even trying.

The same thing applies to all Titan kills actually. I updated the solution to point that out.

But I don't think staying aboard is a good idea. You're likely to get yourself killed doing that.

I can confirm what I said earlier If your on an auto titan keep shooting till it pops up on the kill feed so don't jump off. You can also jump on an already doomed titan and get the kill for it as long as it says you killed the titan with what ever weapon you are using on the feed.

http://news.softpedia.com/news/Respawn-Titanfall-Gooser-Chal...

Gooser shouldn't be so hard for some but we'll have to wait for a patch for it. Instead of 50 it's changing to 5. I'm on Gen 5 myself and after 3 hours I only have 2 kills on Ejecting pilots.
0

By I Am Twistah#216 on 26 Mar 2014 22:53
Based on recent feedback from the community, the Gen 5 challenge requirement "Gooser", requiring players to kill 50 ejecting pilots, will be reduced to 5.

We went a bit too far with this challenge, especially considering the unique conditions that have to be met in order to have the opportunity to get a kill on an ejecting Pilot.

We are aware that some players have already completed the challenge or earned more than the new requirement. We plan to internally note those players so we can recognize their accomplishments in a future game update.

The change to the "Gooser" challenge will go into effect in the near future as part of an upcoming patch, so you still have some time to complete the challenge as it currently stands.

Took me about 2 matches to take care of the 30 criticals with the charge rifle... The challenges aren't that difficult, you just need to know what you need to do, and focus on that during a match. If you're trying to do too many things at once, then you won't knock out some of the more obscure challenges. After I hit Gen 3, I stopped caring about xp, and just focused exclusively on the regen requirements. So far, I've managed to finish them when I'm in the mid 40s, leaving me a couple hours to play with the loadouts I think are best for leveling.

Wow I cant believe they are actually changing the requirement for the Gooser challenge. I really didn't think it was to bad I just played alot of last titan standing and got it before I even hit fifty for that gen. But that's cool Respawn actually cares for the community enough to change it. smile

For anyone looking to get the MVP challenge done legit, I'd recommend joining into matches until you get paired up with a LOSING team. Most people are either unskilled or will likely quit out, which leaves the number one spot easy pickings for a skilled player.

For LOOK OUT BELOW, use the warpfall perk and rodeo a titan. When the pilot in that titan starts to get out, aim straight down while rodeoing and press down on the d-pad. Instant titanfall kill, sometimes two if the pilot immediately gets back in. If you have titan cards or are good at getting titans quickly, you can get 2 or more a game.

@JaMiN, best way is to play the campaign levels. Most guys there are first gen and aren't very good at the game, I got 50 MVP awards in 51 games there.

hardpoint is still really effective, just capture points that the enemy have held. Also if you want easy MVP's go into campaign matches. Attrition mode is easy if you use minion detector and your best gun for kills, also use the chaingun for pilots. I was playing today and got MVP in every campaign match, I started from the first level. Just make sure to be respectful to other gen 9's in campaign and leave if there is already one in the lobby. :) you can add this to your guide snowed if you desire

@UP Johnny, I am Gen 10 and can 100% confirm that minion kills count for the 'Reincarnated' challenge.

@Zymotic, I also run and gun and I had no trouble with the cloak kills. Just kill minions using Satchel Charges and you should be fine.

i am gen 10 and can also confirm that, also jump kicking and arc grenades works wonders for cloak kills.

By B0WM4NX on 07 Apr 2014 10:33
Thanks for the tips, guys. I found kicking them and throwing arc grenades works best. When you shoot them your cloak comes off so you can only get one kill at a time, but if you throw grenades it stays on, and if you kick them or break their neck it stays on. I got about 40 in one game with an infinite shock rock card.

I quit a game of CTF.

and instead of it putting me back at the selection menu, it put me back at the main title screen

I unlocked both Gen 10 and Pilot Hunter achievements.

Albeit I wasn't even playing pilot hunter, and only had 50% of the wins.

Finally an achievement that glitches in MY favor

Another helpful tip for the Look Out Below challenge required to go from gen 8 to gen 9: When your titan is ready, rodeo an enemy auto-titan. They'll kneel down and stay in place, then you can look straight down and call in your own titan for an easy drop kill.

I guess I could be wrong but I am 90% sure you get credit for a titan kill if you doom it, regardless of how it is dealt with post-doomed. Maybe it's just really rare that someone swoops in and steals a doomed titan since they typically only last a few seconds, but I've been using the atrocious plasma rail gun, which takes too long to charge to do anything besides doom, and my count of titan kills with it is always accurate.
0
0
By FingLizardKing on 20 May 2014 13:40
I tested it only one time and I didn't get credit. The tracking in this game is just buggy. I know you are correct to some extent as the challenges complete upon dooming the Titan. So I can't say what exactly is required. I left it like that because it's better safe than sorry.

For any challenge regarding Titans a good method is to play Frontier Defense since the enemy titans will be controlled by the computer instead of a player making them pretty easy to defeat.

For those wanting to boost the MVP challenge:
Last Titanfall session we played LTS in order to get the 10 wins streak. What we did was to make the loser team manually eject right at the start of the round, the winning team stayed idle. What I found was that after the end of the match I always got the MVP status, no matter if I were in the losing or winning team. I still need some testing, but when I reach Gen9 I will set up a session just to boost this challenge. I know it's not that hard to get MVP (actually I managed to complete the MVP challenge in Gen1 or Gen2, no boosting at all), but to make things faster it's nice to know a method like this, that works not for one person but for the whole boosting group.

Use the warp fall ability. Grunts are tough to hit. Spectres are better as they don't run from you. Just move left and right in front of them while you're waiting for the fall and they should shoot at you and not run.

Although I haven't it unlocked this achievement yet, I managed to get MVP level 5 legit (I'm trying to clean a few challenges I have for Frontier Defense). The method I used to work on this challenge was to play Attrition using the smart pistol. Keep killing grunts and spectres to get a bunch of attrition points. If you manage to kill pilots or take down titans, good for you!
Another IMPORTANT note (although someone would have told this earlier): Any challenge that is doesn't say that you got to kill a pilot (or a titan with a pilot within) can be worked in Frontier Defense. In that game mode kills are easy to perform and with some luck you can even complete the challenge in a few matches (using burncards helps a lot).

By MangaPowerZero on 03 Mar 2015 13:27
Ah, for those asking if becoming MVP in Frontier Defense works for the MVP challenge: IT DOES, some of my last matches where I got MVP was in Frontier Defense. Nonetheless you must earn MVP for the whole match, not a single wave. Using the same method I explained earlier for Attrition it should help you to get MVP (at least with the waves with spectres and grunts).

for the look out below challenge for gen8-9, quickest way is to do it on frontier defence - rise map. Use the double agent burn card. First round wait till titan is about a minute away from titanfall before killing spectre snipers. Second round, do not deploy turret and let the grants build up around the havester, then drop on biggest group, get 6-10 per round. Hope this helps

@bowman- an idea would be to use the "massive payload" burn card in addition to the nuke and auto eject on the last map of the campaign. Once you have your titan, die and select the card then go to B. Its a tight area right in front of the capture point so with any luck youll get more than one titan in there with you as well as other enemy pilots

Hey I may have figured out the rodeo titan kill problem. It seems like when I rodeo a pilot controlled titan and doom him (get the points for it) It counts for the challenge. But when I rodeo An auto-titan doom him and I jump off it doesn't count. So I tried to ride it out after I doom an auto-titan until it shows on the kill feed. I I did this twice and I quite sure they counted. Im not absolutely positive about this so it might have to be tested. I'm gonna try again later tonight ;)

I haven't done Gen 8 yet, but no one has corrected me. The challenge does require you to win 100 games and there isn't one for rounds, so I'm inclined to say it is correct. That's what datamining says it should be so they'd have had to patch it to something different since release.

Gen 8 should easily be the longest gen.

I'm not really sure capture the flag is the best gametype for the MVP Challenge. In my personal opinion the best gametype is whatever gametype you like the most or are best at. I personally do my best in Last Titan Standing and Attrition, while Capture the Flag is my worst gametype by far.

As DrJamin has mentioned, playing with a crap team just makes this easier.

Yeah, playing on campaign makes it really easy. I already have 26mvp awards and haven't played more than 40 games while in Gen 9. If you select the second or third mission to start from you'll usually get stuck with a team that just got wrecked and quit out.

My most difficult challenge this gen is going to be the 200 cloak kills because I never use it and it's kind of garbage if you run and gun like I do.

I seriously doubt that. First, that would have required someone to do gen 1 (which would take probably 10-12 hours if you leveled up as efficiently as absolutely possible). Second, it would require someone to gen up a mere 2 BILLION times. I think that's pretty unlikely when combined with the above. Third, Titanfall stats are probably stored server side (I haven't tested, but I'd be REALLY surprised if they were not) so deleting your save wouldn't cause you to lose your generation.

If there is a glitch, they have not shared it with us.

I am Gen 9 Level 50 and I have all regen challenges complete except for the MVP challenge. When I booted up Titanfall today, after selecting 'Play' from the main menu, this Achievement just spontaneously unlocked.

Gen 8, so far, is the most tedious...

100 wins? Thanks Respawn - I got to level 50, and maxed all the other gen requirements, before I got done with my 30 match...roll...

Oh well - I guess I should start looking to snag that Pull Harder achievement with all this wonderful time on my hands...

Tip for people on the 100 wins: play the campaign. People in the campaign are USUALLY low level gen 1 or 2 players, so it is easy to take them to school wink.

That's an XBL issue, not an issue with Titanfall. It's happening in literally every game!

Not really, honestly. Remember you can drop them on grunts and spectres. I used minion detector and simply ran around when I saw a new spawn of enemies and dropped the Titan on them. I'd usually kill 1-2, and that was good enough.

It's very easy to boost. "Skip Regen" as he put it (incorrectly) is actually skipping a challenge. So if you can't manage to get kills with the sniper, you could pay to skip the challenge and automatically complete it. This is done through the Black Market using in-game currency. You couldn't possibly accidentally do it - it costs an unbelievably high amount of credits and it'll be very obvious what it does by the time you actually earn enough credits to pay for it. You simply don't do it at that point and you keep the achievement!

I'll add that into the solution when I have time.

It seems that MVPs count in frontier defense too but whether it's wave MVP or the whole match I don't know. Definitely counts because I regenerated to Gen 9 and had 1 frontier defense game and finished with an MVP.

For MVP challenge in 9, I would suggest Pilot Hunter or even Marked for Death if you are decent at the game. I got probably 15 in a row yesterday since you only need to be the best player on your own team.

If you're not amazing and want nearly guaranteed MVPs try Frontier Defense, but it is much slower.

Thought I'd share my method for the MVPs in case it helps anyone else who's going for it.....

I did mine in Attrition.
Pilot Loadout = Smart Pistol, Sidewinder, Arc Grenade
Titan Loadout = Ogre, XO-16 Chaingun, Nuclear Ejection

I basically ran around like a lunatic Smart Pistoling every AI shown on the minimap and lobbing Arc Grenades at groups of them. Don't get involved in chasing after pilots unless they're in your path - it takes too long to focus the Smart Pistol, and one group of 3 or 4 grunts is worth the same in Attrition points as 1 pilot. People I played with/against seemed to forget that MVP is for most Attrition points not pilot kills, so killing 80-90 grunts/spectres a game always got me MVP compared to someone who had 10+ pilot kills (my best was 99 AI !!). And while you're running round taking out the AI, always drop your Titan immediately when it's ready and put it on Follow Mode. That way you're killing and the Titan racks up a few at the same time as well - double scoring.

I'm not a great player at all (40+ with dodgy eye sight! laugh) and I got the 50 MVPs in under 60 matches using this method and most games we won and I scored over 100 points (including a 135 and a 140)...

Just my method for Gen 9 MVP for those who are struggling:

Go into Hardpoint Domination and cap like crazy. Run with Stim and some stim burn cards along with CAR SMG. I easily surpassed 3,000+ points every time and I have MVPed 22 out of 23 tries as of right now. I also would never use my Titan. I would simply drop him when available to play decoy for me with the Quad Rocket. I also used the Tier kit that allows better accuracy with the Titan which you get at Rank 49 to help a bit more than usual. You hit Rank 50 so quick that getting this unlocked will take no time at all.

The best way to BOOST MVP (Challenge) is with 3 players total.
It doesn't matter if you win the game or not.

This is how we did it:

I was on my team by myself and invited 2 guys to be on the other team. I needed MVP's and they needed WIN's so what we did was

- Go on Japan servers and
- Play last titan standing

I ejected all the time and they were just sitting there and i got the MVP every game even that i was alone on my team and they got their WIN. It took like 3 hours for 50 MVP's/WIN's.

Happy Ejecting!

# Kanchanaburi "It should be noted that as long as ONE of the other players from the two sided gets at least one kill he will also get an MVP!"

# magiccigam "The ingame squadleader (who invites the other one before searching) will be the mvp as well by doing nothing at all. Since he is the leader, he will always be on top of the scoreboard. There is no message shown at the end of the match saying so, but it counts towards the challenge progress"

Just an update for you, but the comment from magiccigam is not accurate. We tried the same thing tonight and although I was party and group leader I consistently did not get MVP. I don't know how it is decided, maybe alphabetical (my GT starts with an 'S' and the other guy on my team started with an 'A')?

To get around this have the person on the team of 2 get one kill first, then have the guy on their own eject the other three times. That way you can control who gets MVP and only took 15-30 seconds longer.

Can be confirmed by Akire 93 and TheReaperWaitsx

This is by far the best method for MVP. This is the longest challenage of the game. Far worst than 100 wins. It should be noted that as long as ONE of the other players from the two sided gets at least one kill he will also get an MVP.

Just wanted to add that the ingame squadleader (who invites the other one before searching) will be the mvp as well by doing nothing at all.
Since he is the leader, he will always be on top of the scoreboard.
There is no message shown at the end of the match saying so, but it counts towards the challenge progress

The highest Pilot generation is Gen 10. To regenerate and move up to the next generation, you have to earn sufficient XP to get to level 50 and for all generations except Gen 1, you have to complete a variety of Level V challenges. As you obtain higher generations, you earn experience faster and can hold more Burn Cards, moving from no XP multiplier and 30 Burn Cards at Gen 1 to 3.5x XP multiplier and 100 Burn Cards at Gen 10.

All of the generation-specific requirements below can be found and progress tracked in the Challenges menu at the bottom under Regeneration.

Grunt, Spectre, Enemy, and Titan kills are often most efficiently completed in Frontier Defense games. Fracture in particular is a good map to use to farm grunts and Spectres in a single player custom Frontier Defense game. Note that Suicide Spectres and Sniper Spectres do not count as Spectre kills.

For Pilot kills, either boost in a Capture the Flag match where it is reasonable to get 30-40 kills in a single match, or play busy playlists such as Campaign and Attrition and focus on targeting enemy Pilots.

Critical hits are hits on Titans with certain weapons after their shield is down where the Titan glows red. Best done in Frontier Defense, although this can be boosted in Last Titan Standing if needed or desired.

To kill ejecting Pilots, see the strategy for the achievements "Pull!" and "Pull Harder!".

For Rodeo kills, see the strategy detailed for the "Ride 'Em Cowboy" achievement.

For executions, you must be in a Titan and melee an enemy Titan after it has been doomed but before the enemy Pilot ejects or detonates their Titan. Frontier Defense as well as both the Campaign and Attrition playlists are good opportunities to progress on these challenges.

For Titanfall kills, see the strategy detailed for the "Death From Above" achievement.

For MVPs, see the strategy detailed for the "Best In Class" achievement.

For Cloak kills, equip the tactical ability cloak and/or use Burn Cards that enhance the cloaking function, and then get kills as normal. Ordnance and melee attacks do not cancel the cloaking effect, so use those to the best of your ability. When using firearms, the Smart Pistol is ideal because it can pop off 4-5 headshots before your cloak is disabled.

For kills after ejecting, equip your Titan with the Nuclear Ejection in the Tier 1 Kit slot, and play Frontier Defense. Get a swarm of grunts and/or Spectres around you and then eject by pressing :1dup: followed by :1xbut: three times. This can be easily completed on Fracture in Frontier Defense if you defeat about 75% of the first wave and then let them destroy the Harvester. When you restart, you will have Titan available and you can wait until there are 20 or so enemies around you before detonating. This approach will let you kill 30-50 enemies after ejecting before failing the mission, at which point you simply restart.

Note the related missable achievement "Too Legit To Quit" in the fourth DLC as well.

Become the best player by capturing strong points 50 times. The algorithm is simple - capture an enemy point and immediately run to the next one. The most points are awarded for capturing. Since only after capturing a point does the enemy do the same, the point is left without defense. Use the ability to see through walls and identify those who still decided to defend the point. After all, the most important thing here is to score the most points, not to win the match...
