How to unlock the Thank You for a Very Enjoyable Game achievement in Tumblestone - Definitive Guide

This achievement is unlocked for completing the 12th and final world of the game. It mixes two modifiers together, at first, and then jumps to three. Best of luck to ye if you aren't using solutions like mine.

The randomly generated levels may make you cry, but keep at it and you will eventually get it. What helped me finally beat it is the fact that certain modifiers are my favorites (double shot, color lock) and if they showed up I felt like I knew what to expect, and I was able to beat those levels. Hopefully it helps, otherwise just look at the puzzles that I successfully completed and see if it works for you.

This is a video of the first twenty levels (level 18 was skipped and is posted right below this video, alternatively, you can use the link next to the timecode in the video description)

Level 12-18:

Then the last levels are here (I skipped level 26, the video of that one is below or alternatively just click the link in the description while you are going through the rest of the levels.)

12-29 (the 12 consecutive puzzles) bugged out on me so many times. The row shift section would start moving other blocks in addition to those inside the yellow and black lines. That one didn't always happen but I would always get screwed at the countdown blockers section at the very very end, there would be two sections to solve but the second puzzle would be unsolvable due to only have having two of any given color exposed. I think the latter problem may have to do with progressing too quickly and forcing the puzzle down and it unintentionally just creates another puzzle at the end but I'm not entirely sure. When I finally completed it I took a slower approach, didn't force the board down, and at the end it wasn't doubled. Between those two bugs I spent most of a day getting that stage finished.

I completely forget about the 12 consecutive puzzles, the randomized levels I was talking about where the puzzle races against the bots haha. I ended up getting 12-29 on my second try so I didn't think about it.

Same thing happened with me, there was a sprouts level that lasted for a really long time, I just took a break getting food while the bots solved it and they still didn't figure it out by the time I came back.

I had that row shift bug as well, I thought it was random though but I still anticipated it for the rest of the level to solve my puzzle.

Yeah, Row shift started bugging out on me as well on 12-29, where blocks would be pushed down one row and keep shifting to the right each move, resulting in blocks overlapping the same position. It caused me to fail a couple of times. There were also a few instances where the game denied me from making a legal 3 combo in world 12 (in general; 100% positive), though in the end I don't think it would have led to the correct solution.

For the random levels, I've been taking a picture of a puzzle on my phone and then solving it when the game is paused. My phone allows me to draw on the picture so I use dots and numbers to keep track. Just keep in mind of the modifiers, this method doesn't really work on the row shift puzzle unless you're good at remembering everything.

The row shifting level is a bug, as far as I know they were looking to fix it on Steam but I don't know if they ever learned about it on the Xbox.

Any tips for 12-30? It's so damn random.

After numerous attempts, I finally finished 12-30, but the AI was so random. Sometimes I thought I was doing really well on a puzzle, but the AI finished when I was only half done.
When I finally finished it, I had 4 wins, and I got to a puzzle that the AI couldn't seem to solve. There were only two colours, but with sprouts, the alternating grid locks, and I can't remember the last one.

It still took me about an hour of failing to finally get it, but damn it felt good.

For 12-30, I'd say stick to what you know about certain modifiers even when paired with some hard ones. You know that the beehive modifier you need to finish the puzzle with all columns, you know that the 3-2-1 step modifier needs to be done one row at a time and you always need to look out for the next color you want to grab. Double shot means you should be looking for groups of colors. For wildcards, you try to pretend that a certain wildcard is already a specific color if it is surrounded by that color. Pretty much play to your strengths, as you most likely won't win all 5 in a row. Also if the AIs get a few wins and you don't have any, you might as well restart to put you on an even playing field. Though, you shouldn't restart if you already have a few wins because you never know what could happen.

The 12 random levels challenge isn't too difficult if you pause to analyze each segment for blocked colors before starting. Each puzzle by itself is a low to medium difficulty puzzle for each world's modifier, so it's not too bad if you stay calm.

The real problem is the 12-10 and 12-30 puzzle races that can't be skipped. The Sparring bots are already tough enough to beat with 2-3 modifiers each round, seeing as how you have to pause and scrutinize each move while the AI doesn't miss a beat, but the real problem is when the Sprouts modifier shows up. On 12-30 in particular, since it uses 3 mods each round, the Sprouts mod can make a puzzle so difficult that you or the AI won't be able to solve it at all. This happened to me at least twice, where some combination involving Sprouts caused the round to go on for an HOUR without anyone solving it. It doesn't happen every time it shows up. Just certain combinations (which I didn't take note of, but I feel Staggered Locks might have been involved.) So, sometimes it's best to just give up and start over, especially if you don't have a lead or are on 3-4 wins.

Below I have included my guide to all of the levels in world 12, in my guide I haven't included level 12-20, 12-29 and 12-30, because each level took me about half an hour and would make this guide far to long and wouldn't really be guiding you as the levels are random. You have to just keep trying and you will complete them eventually. Good luck!

*Time stamps for each level coming soon*

do skip tokens count towards the achievement? I'm about 20 levels from the end and I have all 11 skip tokens... does this mean I only have to do 9?
