With this method, I did Peak Performance in about 240 hours (2.4 hrs for 1% progress).
My method is to make a paper dummy. Hang the dummy from the ceiling so that the feet can easily move.
Then set an electric fan behind the dummy so its blowing will move the feet.
Move the Kinect sensor left or right as needed until the dummy makes a green circle.
Choose a workout depending on the achievement you want to work on. I found these to be the best.
Peak Performance -> Mossa Groove
Furious Fists and Fight Back -> Rapid Results Fat Burner Cardio
Run the Day -> Knockout Body Body Blast
If you start from scratch, play Knockout Body Body Blast to make progress on multiple achievements.
Using a turbo controller, you can repeatedly press . The workouts will repeat unattended.
I tried macro software and the controller function in the Windows 10 Xbox App, but it didn't work. Xbox Fitness can't use the controller function of the Xbox App.
Thanks to TangerineGamer for the idea and to MathGuy42 for help in writing up this solution.
I hope it is helpful for TA community.Thank you for reading.

If it doesn't work well, make a strong wind.
Thanks for the great solution.
I don't have a turbo controller and I'm up to 33% from 24% on Saturday afternoon.
I missed half a day Saturday as my fan motor burnt out so had to find another, one of the hottest days in the uk and they were sold out everywhere
you can automate run the day as well. do the groove workout and once you hit 6000 points
skip to drill 31. let it run to 33, you should just barely have a star at 8700 pts.
then keep rewinding to drill 32 and letting it run about 5 seconds into drill 33.
Job well done!
And set strong wind. If you grab him and shake from out of sensor, you can check it works well.
Twobby, I can't understand what you say, so please wait for someone's reply. And I use a fan with pan fanction and use paper dummy.Japanese word is Atsugami, but I don't know what to say in English.
Edit: Seems to be adding progress so guess its not that much of an issue to me after all
https://youtu.be/5Jput3aMjC8
Also I didn't see much progress on punches from rapid results cardio. I saw much better results from Mossa Fight 1 (esp if you repeat drill 21 w/Cronus or similar).
BTW, if you are having trouble getting it to track: Sometimes it picks up my dummy all by itself, sometimes i have to get it to track me and grab the bottom of dummy and walk out of frame while holding it until only dummy is in frame, then let go. That usually works after 2-3 tries at most.
Because it sounds like I am seeing a lot better progress, almost double what MathGuy42 is reporting.
there are many helpful comment ( Unfortunately, I can't understand well ), we can pick up anything for your room.
Michel, you changed the size? The circle appeared under the dummy?
gamerboyTHXtss, i think CronusMax is best.If you have any xbox360, ps3 turbo controller, you can use it.
I tested different things for a Hal of a day until u found the best out.
-Kinect is about 1,5m away
- use a very light paper for body. I used a paper towel from the kitchen
-use a stronger paper as feets
-make a head...bigger is better. I used a red ballon with a size of a basketball ( a bit bigger)
Most important:
Make sure your Kinect is picking up your dummy from the side
make sure that your dummy DID NOT spin around.!!!
I had fixed a extra rope from the top of the ballon to the body of the dummy. The extra rope was to make sure that the fan will spin the dummy NOT turn around...but the dummy was constantly walking from left to right...iit was not easy to put the fan into right position.
ON THE screen it looks allways like a stickman with big bubble head who is walking from left to right.
Hope this helps.
BreakingPad68 - I am doing what you are suggesting, but for some reason it is not improving anything.
Only time I've had it lose tracking is on occasion when the vinyl twists as it swings and it becomes too thin to track.
I have also never put a "head" on the dummy. I keep forgetting to grab a balloon when I'm near the store, but I've still had pretty good progress with percentage gain.
I have never gotten circles on Mossa Groove under the feet either, whether it was with my dummy or me doing legit workouts. I don't really want to put in the time to get it to register either, as my progress has been as good, or better, than what seems to be typical from other people's input.
Any advice can help at this point. At the end of this achievement, I should have a Masters Degree in Kinect Interface Engineering
EricGarcia4 - Are you talking about toilet paper or paper towels for your method? If you're going with toilet paper, I would definitely go with something more substantial so you can get more reliable tracking out of it. My vinyl dummy works great, but materials like that aren't really easy for people to get a hold of. I'm a contractor, so I just have some left over from a jobsite.
Maybe you could try some heavy paper and try to get it to swing side to side as much as possible, because I believe that is the trick to this method.
Questions:
1) Is a head really needed?
2) Is there a turbo controller that works on iMac; with no boot-camp?
3) Does score really matter?
4) What are people averaging in score (Mossa Fight/Mossa Groove)/% improvement since Friday?
Any advice would help right about now..
I am not using a ceiling fan. I have a standing oscillating fan that I'm using, but I DO NOT have it oscillating. It is just facing my dummy at a slight angle, causing it to sway back and fourth.
I don't know about turbo controllers. I got an unopened package sitting right here with a Cronusmax Plus that just showed up that should allow me to use my 360 turbo controllers on my one. Going to get that set up tomorrow.
I'm averaging 60k-65k every session of Groove, with most of my scores being 63k-64k.
I'm still getting 1% every 160 minutes.
1. Go to settings. There is a spot for setting your height. Put your height at 7 feet tall (max setting).
2. Start on Mossa Fight #1: Fight Sequence 5, Round 2 and 3. This excercice detects the jumps perfectly.
3. Add a perch (or a broom) to your cardboard dummy (at the level of the neck), and made a movement from bottom to top to mimic a jump.
4. Repeat excercice 5.2 and 5.3 in a loop (approximately 55 seconds - 1 minute for loop).
In my case, every jump is 80 cms. I make 50 jumps by loop. In 25 minutes, I progress of 1 %.
At the same time, you can also increase the success " Run the day " with the trick of EricGarcia4.
For the " Run the day " success , you have to win the star during the drill 5.3. It is compulsory!!!
It is necessary to have approximately 14500 points at the end of the drill 5.1.
During the drill 5.2, you have to make between 1000 and 1500 points.
During the drill 5.3, you just have to exceed 16350 points which gives you the star.
Then you begin again in a loop (drill 5.2 and 5.3). You have to make 50 loops to win 1 %.
I did not use cardboard. I used my dogs large food bag (30 lbs Bag). I taped the package and did a small cut just wide enough to fit my WINDOW SQUEEGEE. I used that because the poll kept coming of even though i used tape. With the squeegee the dog bag will never come off. I especially taped the bag and squeegee for EXTRA control when i move the bag up and down. Luckily I had a mop pole that if i forced into the squeegee it will not come off unless i put extreme force. For the legs i used 4 (4"x 8" bubble wrap) I taped them on the front and back of the bag and stapled two of them together so i would not have legs going all over the place.
I went from 56% to 66% in 1 night. It does take a bit of effort at first, but just test the waters as to how much force you want to add to it. About 50 jumps is accurate, i went all out getting about 90-100 jumps a turn and it still took me 33-36 minutes. I just watched some Fail Army for the evening and time passed by. I will upload a photo this evening after work.
Again, awesome technique on DevilCentaurus, I should have this game done and dusted come Sunday night!
Oh yeah, the dummy is moving and I'm moving as well but no green circle.
Unfortunately, there's no quick way to know you're making progress. You just have to let the problem run for a few hours to see if the percentage goes up. If you already have Everest unlocked, you could use a second account to check progress there, since you'll see the percentage increase in about 1/11th of the time.
Keep yellow or green marker, and set your electric fan.Good luck.
Congrats on the creative solution & thanks! :)
Anyone else run into this with Mossa Groove? If so, how did you get it fixed?
I improved my dummy, which looks like this:
https://s11.postimg.org/bstprjyur/IMG_3641.jpg
Basically, as you can see, it's a simulated body with kitchen paper, with arms and legs stapled so they don't rip off because of the fan wind. I hanged it from a rope across the ceiling of the room using a hanger that can be turned. I also used a baloon as a head (in the picture it has two balloons because I was too lazy to remove the black one XD). My fan has 3 speeds but I used speed 2 because speed 3 seemed too hard for me and I thought it might burn. I didn't use the fan oscilation.
First of all, I started Mossa Groove and stood still behind the dummy with my arms opened until it recognized me, then I grabbed a "leg" and walked away the kinect camera and let go the leg so the camera just recognizes the dummy.
When I was away from the camera, I used my arm to turn the hanger, so the dummy stands at its side and look like this in the camera:
https://s12.postimg.org/6fgal2uj1/IMG_3642.jpg
https://s21.postimg.org/8zvczlqhz/IMG_3571.jpg
https://s4.postimg.org/9lxvs5c8d/IMG_3573.jpg
I used Cronus Max to repeat button A and play Mossa Fight continously. I used this script (thanks to BuckSatan):
http://cronusmax.com/gpclib/?s=3148
Now into the numbers:
My dummy was averaging a score of 55k-60k as its best scores and 40k-45k as its worst scores. With this scores, percentage went up a 9-10% every 24 hours, so the achievement is doable in 10 days of continuous play. I can confirm that the Xbox One, my fan and my tv stayed turned on in periods of 4-5 days with no problem (by the way, the tv light was enough for the kinect to work, so I could turn off the room light).
I hope this helps other people who is trying this hellish achievement too and if you have any questions, I'd be pleased to answer them.
EDIT: thanks to mamaani and all the people who wrote comments in this solution, their comments were very useful to achieve this almost impossible achievement ;)
If you want to do peak performance with the zombies workout check Medrus' solution on that to do it manually. You also may be able to do peak performance another way, if you read through the comments for the top Peak Performance solution there is a method explained that uses a broom you push up with a dummy to simulate a jump giving around 1% of peak performance every 30 minutes. I think I would just do it myself to get some exercise if it came to that lol but still it's a lot of jumping.
After 8 days of Mossa Groove I only got 30% towards peak performance (And having done every other achievement). I finally figured it out so now am getting 12-15% every 24hrs. Fingers crossed I don't get kicked out in the next few days. Anyway if you are able to use Mossa Groove or another suitable workout and want to know how I've set it up let me know.
I think for most people though this game is over I just wanted to let anyone know what seems to still be working. My brother sent me a pic of his available workouts and The gatorade with JJ watt set of workouts was still there. No Mossa or 10min solutions though they are all gone!
It's the 19th of December 7pm now so if you can get on it!
You could also try Medrus' manual solution which involves doing the sneak squats drill in one of the zombies workouts. Good luck!
I'm just going to do the zombies workout a couple of times a day myself if Mossa Groove stops working for me. You can definitely obtain Peak Performance actually exercising for real before it all ends in 6 months the only one which will be almost impossible is the stamps which right now seems to still be available, someone correct me if that's wrong it's what my brother could see as available. The punches will only be possible if there is a workout with punches and I can't remember. It's just trial and error now.
I'm using Speleo's Cronus Max scripts for Run the day and I just changed the timing so it keeps running through the burpees. If you don't have a Cronus Max and you can't be bothered sitting there and repeating over and over you could just let it run through the 20 min stamina workout but it will be much slower progress.
Also I noticed when he does the jumps I do get circles on my screen even the my dummy is just a wriggling paper towel so I still have to test that but it may work also.
Don't worry that it's red or yellow and it won't be green but as long as you are seeing the circles appear around your dummy you should be getting credit for the jumps. My dummy is a paper towel with lots of sticky tape and attached at the top and bottom so it has a bit of slack. Fan is underneath pointing straight up and the dummy wriggles. It needs to be fixed on both ends it can't flap around just wriggle!
I'm getting 1% about every 45 mins
Another "behind the scenes" system update is available today. It probably won't fix anything, but we can hope.
I never did get the fast results some of you have. 2.5 to 5 hours was typical for me. At least there is plenty of time to get it done before December, even at 5 hours per 1%.
Got the achievement yesterday. Xbox Fitness somehow hooked me up. I was getting 1% every 22minutes from 85% to 100%. The image shows how i feel right now!

I took a strip of paper towels that is roughly my height and used scissors to split the bottom to make 'legs'. I attached this 'puppet' to my ceiling fan (with string and tape) and put it on the lowest setting. Running Mossa Groove with the puppet is giving me way more completion way faster than I could do it myself. Faster than 1% per hour at the moment, though it seems to vary.
Complete re-edit:
Here's what I have found works best:
1. go to settings. There is a spot for setting your height. Put your height at 7 feet tall (max setting)
2. I can get 1% progress for about 1 hour of Mossa Groove (which counts all movement) by doing the following during the workout:
a: about 1.5 minutes of jumping jacks
b: about 1.5 minutes of squats while punching my hand up in the air when I straighten up
c. about 1.5 minutes of running forward and back (toward and away from the Kinect, not left and right) while windmilling my arms in the air. Then go back to a. and repeat.
d. on the 'breaks', catch your breath, but keep putting your hands up and down. You can see the kinect still recognizing your moves because your arms and shoulders will glow slightly.
This is about 50% faster than I was able to get before, when my height was set at 5'8", I was doing Mossa groove doing jumping jacks, squats (without hand punches) and running forward and back (without hand movements). I was also standing still during 'breaks'.
I am currently sitting at 26% completion. I am hoping to hit at least 3% per week, which should bring me to *almost* 100% by the time I can no longer do Mossa Groove for free in January.
Older Edit: As Redsales points out, the JJ Watt Stamina workout is composed of about 75% jumps and burpees, which are perfect for this achievement. Redsales says it takes 5 runs to move the bar 1%, however for me it was 6. But my living room has this throw rug that my wife won't let me get rid of, and the Kinect basically cuts off my feet at the ankles because of that darn rug, so I probably wasn't jumping as high as Redsales.
I also discovered something else during this test- I was most of the way through the 6th run of Stamina when the game glitched out and kicked me back onto the Xbox main screen. Checking the achievements, the status bar had moved 1%, despite the challenge bar in game not moving at all. So that means that the achievement updates instantaneously, whether you complete the session or not.
When my legs have recovered I plan to snap the achievement to the side and just do rocket jumps or heismans over and over again and see if I can't make it go up a %.
I think mossa fight 1 is giving me about 0.5% completion each run-through. I will test it today if Xbox fitness isn't too glitchy.
Edit: Okay, it's very glitchy. I did 2 workouts, one of which was severely glitched, the other at perhaps 90% glitch free. The progress bar did not move. In any case, Mossa Fight 1 has a ton of sprawls, which is just about the best move for getting this achievement quickly
Edit 2: Did another run through this morning. No glitches. But the completion percentage did not change.
Edit 3: I did a run-through of Mossa Fight 2. The percentage changed to 20%. So that's a total of 3 Mossa Fight 1 and a Mossa fight 2 in order to move the completion bar by 1%. If this thing works how I think it works, you can halfass your workouts and get the same result as if you went full out: IE, there is a set amount from each workout as long as you score some amount of points. I'll test tho theory when I get back from vacation
07 Jun 2015 12:25
I don't think you can just jump or squat constantly as roguegambit suggested, because for the 3,000 punch cheevo, it only counted punches at certain times of the workouts (where your fist would turn blue), but wouldn't in other sections...even some that involved punching! So I surmise that, barring evidence to the contrary, it might not count the jump or squat height/distance unless it's a jump/squat-specific exercise.
Whew, long-winded, but I just wanted to add those thoughts and say thanks for helping to decipher this. My bar is at 26% now and I've been gaining about 1% a week...should have this done by November 2016 at this rate, barring injury/vacation/sloth etc. It's a great workout at least.
Mossa Fight 1 > 19%
Mossa Fight 2 > 17%
Mossa Fight 3 > 17%
All depends on your activity. In all jumping drills made at least twice as much as needed! 1 tuck jump -> 3; 2 -> 5; 4 -> 10. So not much differences between Mossa Fights, but keep in mind that the 3rd is 5 mins less if you think in full workouts...
Looks like Renattooo's results are lining up as expected. Averaging his Mossa Fight 1 and 2 results, if he did a workout 8 times he'd be at 18*8 = 144% of the way through Leap Year. Since Leap Year is 2.016 km, that's 2.903 km, which almost exactly matches the 3% he get on Peak Performance after 8 workouts.
Mossa 1: 111K
Mossa 2: 113k
Mossa 3: 104k
I love these workouts, so I will keep doing them, especially the last one.
Disconnect from the net and set it up again.
Push the power button for around 10 secs (this clean the cache).
Uninstall the game and dowlnoad it again. Do not delete your save.
In the setting, power options and there Shutdown.
The support said those, when I asked about achievement stuck problem. Up to 72 hours to change, so maybe have to wait. I hope help.
This happened to me with Fight Back (Throw 3000 punches) because I had already thrown 3000 punches before the achievement was added. I just threw one more punch and the achievement unlocked.
If this works for you, then you are very lucky. Peak Performance is a very time consuming achievement.
I applaud your dedication. I found Everest to be quite the grind and this one is about 11 times longer.
It's a very bad news - for me. :(
As a parting gift, the new workouts Mobility and Zombies are available for free. Go to the workout, use Buy Now and then Content Options to download the full videos. Those workouts should keep working until the June 30, 2017 shutdown. Apparently the Mobility Lower Body and the Zombies Sneak workouts have squats, so they might work for Peak Performance.
Free for Gold streaming ends on December 15, 2016, so that may end access to favorite jumping workouts like Mossa Fight. Since the Gatorades never had a "buy the video" option, I'm guessing they are free without Gold and will remain until the shutdown.
That match was great! ;)
Now I'm on 72% and read back my comments when i was 62%, 2.5 months ago. I did 29 trainings. 5 x P90X (only 1 of 5 is cardio/jumping) this 2 Zombies and the rest Mossa 1-2-3. So around 2.5-2.8 Mossa workout gives me 1% which is almost the same that I wrote before, 8 Mossa >>> 3%.
I check this Zombie workout and maybe it's better. Easy to compare >>> 3 x "Mossa 3" length exactly 4 x "Zombies 2" length.
Here is my MS Bands details for the workout: https://dashboard.microsofthealth.com/sharedevent/Exercise?e...
Michel: the detection is fine for me.
Link: https://www.microsoftstudios.com/news/2016/06/27/xbox-fitnes...
To see what will probably happen in December, I tried a non-Gold account after turning off Sharing Gold, with results in this post. Gatorade and Athlete Fit might remain after December since they are advertising.
Renattooo, do you not see the 10 Minute Solutions any more? From my experiment, it looks like the Mossa and 10 Minute Solutions workouts are the Free for Gold workouts.
It's interesting that they revoked your licenses. I forget that MS can do that with Xbox One, as they do with Games with Gold if you let your Gold expire. I don't think the automatic refunds will do this. The end of the sunset announcement talks about the refunds and says that purchased content will still be playable until June 10, 2017 (maybe a typo instead of June 30).
Right now, you can not see "Content Options", so can not download videos.
All content that you bought even was "0.00", will be available till june 2017. If it is on your Xbox console's harddrive.
It wasn't an automatic refund! It was a request. I got my money back to my pocket. :) So I can buy anything for that money! :P But, you will get your money back to your ACCOUNT, that you have to spend for MS stuffs within a year, after expire... That's why I lost all licenses...
I hope now see the difference and all clear.
I believe Content Options is still available for other people for what they have purchased. Also, it's available for Zombies and Mobility. The Content Options has disappeared from Mossa and 10 Minute Solutions for those people who did not previously purchase them.
So I'm encouraging everyone to use Content Options to download Zombies, Mobility, and anything they purchased before June 26, 2016. While I think those will all be streamable after December 15, 2016, it doesn't hurt to download them to be safe.

First rack up about 10,000 points.
Skip forward to drill 33 (run)
Complete drill 33 and 34 (squat sneak)
Each repetition (1 min 20 sec) gives 1 star for Run the Day and 20ish metres toward peak performance.
Repeat 50 times for 1% Peak performance AND 1% Run the day.
26 Aug 2016 12:30
For the running section i march on the spot to max the score multiplier. Score for run should be 1000 to 1200.
For the sneak section i kick each leg forward while raising the corresponding arm, then put that leg down and touch that foot. Score for sneak drill should be 4400 to 4600.
While my method may not match the intent of the drill, it does prevent damage to my knees.
At a practical level drill 33 also offers a slight physical break to recuperate between 34s.
Any tested alternatives would be most welcome.

EDIT 2: Thanks to Xpovos, how to make the dummy is now detailed in the comments.
And the dummy works best in the night, with artificial light.
EDIT: Estimated time to get 1% is 1 hour 20 minutes
---------------------------------------------------
If you have problems with Kinect recognizing the dummy with a fan (or you can't set a fan), I recommend a dummy with a broom and move it for yourself. (I have only free workouts)
First, you need to do J.J. Watt Stamina (exercise 10, Squat Jumps). You need to stay behind the dummy, take the broom and move it up and down (In timming with J.J.).
And with the new update for One, you can set "achievement tracker", With this, you can see a white bar every time you do a 0.5% progress approximately.
Keep in mind that with this method, your arms will get very tired. I started this monday with 11%, and today (Thursday) I have 22%, but I can't do it like I did in Monday, so take breaks.

This achievement requires you to jump, climb, and squat for a cumulative total of 100 kilometers. This will be one of the last, if not the last, achievement you unlock in this game. This could potentially take hundreds and hundreds of hours depending on what workout routines you play, since very few have any climbing, and not too many have a lot of jumping. Squats seem to be the most common, but your legs will likely be on fire pretty quickly if you try to farm this.
On the plus side, you can just play the same drill over and over again. For example if a workout routine is 10 minutes long and only 1 drill has jumping, you don't need to play through that entire 10 minute workout routine if you just want to farm the jumping. Just pause the game and skip forward to that drill. Play it, then pause and rewind and replay the drill.
In theory, the fastest way to get this achievement is with the Stamina routine in the Football Training Camp. There is a ton of jumping and squatting in this routine, but as the name implies, you'll need a ton of stamina to keep up, let alone to play the same drills over and over to farm it. There is one particular drill called "jump squats" where you squat, then jump, then squat, then jump, etc. This is the fastest drill to get this achievement, but be warned you may not be able to walk properly or use stairs for a while if you try to farm this drill.
